Universal Music Enterprises/Geffen is releasing the Guns n’ Roses: Use Your Illusion I & II boxed set on Blu-ray Disc Nov. 11. The set includes 97 tracks, 63 previously unreleased, in multiple configurations, including a Super Deluxe seven CD + Blu-ray Disc, a Super Deluxe 12-LP + Blu-ray, and two-CD Deluxe Editions.
The boxed set features digitally remastered editions from high-resolution 96kHz 24-bit transfers from the original stereo 1/2-inch analog masters. All versions on the box set will be available to stream and as digital downloads.
Guns n’ Roses, featuring front man Axle Rose and lead guitar Slash (Saul Hudson) released concurrently their third and fourth studio albums, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II on Sept. 17, 1991. Upon release, Use Your Illusion I reached No. 2, and Use Your Illusion II took the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart concurrently, selling more than 500,000 copies in the first two hours of release, with estimated sales of more than 685,000 and 770,000 copies, respectively, within the first week of release.

Use Your Illusion I features the band’s cover of Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die,” the top 10 hit “Don’t Cry,” and “November Rain ,” which hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100, spending a total of 30 weeks on the chart, and holds the title of the first video from the 1990s to hit 1 billion views on YouTube — now nearing 2 billion views. “November Rain ” now includes a 50-piece orchestra conducted and arranged in 2021 by Grammy Award winning and Emmy Award nominated composer Christopher Lennertz .
