The 'TimVision Box Atmosphere' is here, the new decoder enabling access to TimVision content and an even more engaging entertainment experience thanks to the definition of Full HD and 4K HDR image and the sound quality afforded by the performance of Audio Bang & Olufsen and the built-in Dolby Atmos.
These unique characteristics in fact make for an all-in higher quality experience, taking the spectator into an immersive sound dimension that reveals all audio details of films and musical content.
In addition to the new generation audio performance, another important function offered by the 'TimVision Box Atmosphere' is the voice search. Thanks to the Google Assistant, searches can be activated directly by voice, even with the TV off and without needing to use the remote control as a microphone. You can therefore choose which programme to watch quickly and easily, browsing for your favourite content in the TimVision catalogue and the main Android TV apps.
As was already the case for the previous set top box, 'TimVision Box Atmosphere' also allows you to choose from the extensive catalogue of the TIM streaming platform - the most complete on the Italian market - and to receive suggestions every day on not-to-be-missed titles, from Disney+ to Netflix, all the football and sport on Dazn and Infinity+ and thousands of films, original TV series, sports events and the entertainment offered by discovery+, as well as Prime Video, TimMusic and TimGames.
The new device again uses Multicast live content mode, a technology that allows for the streamed broadcasting of massive live events, optimising them: the same content is distributed indiscriminately and simultaneously to all users connected, without taking up further network resources. This new decoder also supports Wi-Fi 6 wireless technology, allowing for an even more stable connection.
'TimVision Box Atmosphere', developed in collaboration with Sagemcom, can also access all apps available from the Google Play Store, including YouTube, YouTube Kids and RaiPlay. The decoder has built-in DVB-T2 to see all digital terrestrial channels, with no need to buy a new TV or additional dedicated device.
This new proposal allows TIM to offer comfort and easy enjoyment of services, for an increasingly user-friendly customer experience to foster the spread of connected products in homes, thereby continuing to accompany the country's digital progress.
