GEEKOM is celebrating its 19th anniversary in a variety of ways. In addition to a sale on its catalogue of mini PCs, the Taiwanese manufacturer is selling a special edition of the popular MiniAir 11. The tiny desktop, which we recently reviewed, targets the budget-minded crowd but offers enough performance to handle everyday office- and home-related tasks.

In our review, we highlighted its low power consumption and minuscule size. We also liked its ample port selection (despite its compact case) and near-silent operation. While performance is on the lower side due to its Jasper Lake Intel Celeron N5095 CPU, the MiniAir 11 is powerful enough for web browsing, basic document work, and even simple photo editing.

The MiniAir 11 Special Edition comes nicely packaged in a bold teal box with a gold embossed logo on the top. It makes quite a statement from the outset, and the experience gets better as the lid opens up. The box folds out, revealing four separate compartments within.

The MiniAir 11 Special Edition sits in the top-right of the box. While its internals are identical to the standard MiniAir 11, the case has been redesigned. Instead of the matte black of the standard version, the Special Edition features a gunmetal gray coloration. The top bears the same insignia as the main box, emblazoned in the same striking teal as its package. The overall effect is quite stunning and adds some spice to the case.

The rest of the box houses some other goodies, including a mousepad with an ergonomic padded wrist rest with the GEEKOM logo, a felt bag to hold the included accessories (power adapter, VESA plate w/ mounting screws, HDMI cable, miniDP to HDMI adapter), and a ceramic figurine of Geekom's mascot, Geagle.

This figurine is hand-painted and has removable goggles. It's a cute inclusion and makes a nice addition to any GEEKOM fan's desk.
